my incredulity at Judd's comics career has little to do with the quality of his work and everything to do with his portrayal on The Real World

It was very surreal. There were actors playing Puck and Judd and shit and they kind of had scene-for-scene re-enactments of key pivotal plot points from the show but it was so surreal to see actors re-enacting reality TV but also being really, really bad actors. I can't explain it. You must rent this movie solely for the Real World shit.

Judd Winick: No I don’t. I was quite surprised to find myself in his book, but Dave was very fair, very complementary, and very kind. He could have been cruel, and no one would have faulted him. I did send him a letter and a copy of Pedro and Me.
