I find a certain amount of frustration that I can't find the clip from MTV's "Sex In The '90s" of Lou Barlow sitting in a dark room queening out about his lady cheating on him.

He was wearing a Joy Division t-shirt no less.

i remember in '92 when they have this big "NEW MUSIC REVOLUTION" ad campaign to signal that they were finally retiring all those old Whitesnake videos and only keeping recent vids in rotation

the music programming on mtv was all anyone really talked about (other than the real world) until at least 96/97.

i was actually thinking of just starting a john norris vs. kurt loder poll instead of polling all the mtv news personalities
