what does my dream mean?

black metal churchburner Varg Vikernes appearwed to me in a dream! I was walking around Swanzey Lake with a bunch of my dream friends when Varg crossed our path. he looked a lot like this (# GIS result):

but he wasn't smiling & he was wearing a long, white Polyphonic Spree robe. I asked one of my friends if it was really Varg and they said yeah, and I spent a long time debating whether to report the Varg sighting to the police. I decided not to do anything about it though.

I dreamt that I was at my parent's house, and I found my mother's old 1960's Dansette record player. On the platter was a slightly warped (both physically and in musical content) GG Allin single called 'The Biggest Insult in the World' (which doesn't actually exist).

I dreamt I was dating a possessed girl. she was really sweet, but every minute or so a demon would enter her body & her eyes would cloud over & she'd give me a really evil stare. it only lasted for a few seconds at a time, but it was really freaky, and sometimes when she was possessed she would make jerky hand movements and growl something cryptic (but not necessarily evil) like, "we're waiting for the doctor." I met her family at a dinner party, and they were really embarrassed whenever she got possessed. and one time when we were in class together, one student was bullying a gay kid, and when my girlfriend went into one of her fits, she glared at the bully and was like, "cut it out with the homophobia." I guess her demon wasn't so evil after all, but it still creeped me out.

I also had a dream that I wrote down a detailed summary of the demon dream in my dream log. I don't even keep a dream log.

I've had a few other dreams about writing in a dream log. it seems like half of my dreams these days are meta.

harbl said something about meta dreams upthread, so I guess I'm not the only one. the demon dream was even more complicated because in one version of the dream, everything was happening in real life, and in another version, I was an actor in a youtube tv series about a guy with a haunted girlfriend. it seems like even my subconscious is tainted by our hypermediated society. pretty soon all of my dreams will be about posting to Ask Dr. Freud.

I dreamt that my mom and I were on vacation in Costa Rica. it was a brief overnight visit, and we spent the entire time sitting in our hotel room watching tv. the remote control was weird because it had two extra buttons: one labeled 'ZOMBIES 'N' BLOOD' and another labeled 'CHILI'S'. when I pressed the 'CHILI'S' button, I was treated to an on-demand horror movie compilation sponsored by Chili's® Grill & Bar. I didn't press the 'ZOMBIES 'N' BLOOD' button.

I dreamt that I was running down the steps of a cathedral killing bees with my bare hands

but then the POV of the dream shifted, and I found myself watching a TV movie in which some dude was running down the steps of a cathedral killing bees with his bare hands

I couldn't figure out the title of the movie, so I started hitting people up on the IMDb forums, but no one could tell me what it was called

i dreamt i was possibly in the military or something, outdoors in nature in a line w other dudes and we were all peeing….when i finished peeing part of my penis detached and fell to the ground. On the ground it turned into a snake w red and black stripes but still w the head of a penis.. I didnt really want anyone to notice so i surreptitiously picked it up and tried to put it as a bookmark in a book to save it.. as i went to close the book its tongue shot out and hissed and i dropped the book

i dreamt that there was a famous image file called "indies.jpg" that people would post online a lot, it had some sort of storied history and was known to everyone by precisely that filename, kind of like canyon.mid or whatever. the actual image was just a solid turquoise field with a black and white pixelated smudge at the lower right. when i woke up i immediately went to my computer and opened up ms paint and tried my best to replicate it as i saw it in the dream. so, here is my recreation of the famous indies.jpg
