this was shitty, but essentially wlad did what had to be done. you can only beat what's in front of you. beating haye with just leading with his jabs was always going to be the tactic.

Both Klitschko brothers have a significantly better KO percentage than Louis.

I'm sure the Klitschkos could start a bum of the month club like Louis did and fight guys who throw themselves headlong into them, but instead they make title defenses against top 15 guys over and over and knock them out 95% of the time.

Was Tyson not an "entertainer" because he let guys like Mitch Green hug their way to wide decision losses?

completely unbelievable to me that anybody who gives 1/4 of a shit about boxing defends the mirthless Klitschkos, neither of whom ever saw a least-possible-effort points victory they weren't willing to defraud the public for. evidently it's not a shitty match if...well tbh I can't think of any grounds on which this wasn't a shitty match but evidently matt & jim found a fight almost completely devoid of combinations by two fighters without an ounce of heart between them very satisfying
