Run DMC were corny. I mean, they wore Adidas without the laces and made a big deal about it. And their cadence was clunky even by 80s standards. BUT they were loveable little scamps.

like I don't remember "99 Problems" being so ubiquitous when The Black Album dropped, it was all about "Dirt On Your Shoulder"

best black album mashup was "99 problems" with "99 luft balloons." i grew much more accustomed to it than the original.

99 problems was huge over here, so maybe blame britishers. but jay's hardest breaks have always been big here (can i get a >>> hard knock life for example) and add in the dizzee jack, it was bound to happen
