Also, what the hell is wrong with 'Church'? And why so much hate on this thread in the first place? I'll agree that 'Who the Fuck' and 'Speedin' are weak, but for fuck's sake, it's T-PAIN. He's a special fellow.

I like "Church" and always have (although the crappy video and clean edit have dampened my enthusiasm a little). This thread was started out of love for T-Pain, but also with a critical eye on whether his '08 will be as good as his '07.

I think at one point it was supposed to follow "Bartender" instead of "Church," yeah, got some mix show spins but that's about it. I think "Backseat Action" makes the best case for T-Pain's talents as a producer, those drums are fucking sick.

ok i totally love "she got it"-- heard it like 68 times on the radio this weekend in stl and it finally totally clicked. justice league have effectively kicked the runners out of the slow, creepy, monolithic beats for florida dudes throne and i think that's a good thing.

"Buss Yo Head" was a big steet joint for mnoths but I never totally warmed up to it. nice hard simple beat, though. loved their song on the Shawnna album, but those Shareefa tracks were two of my least favorites on the album, decent productions but boring songs.

it took the video for me to realize that this Ace Hood aka Ace Gutta guy on Khaled's new label isn't the same as the Ace Mack that was on Khaled's "Make It Rain" remix. shit is confusing! I'm really starting to feel like pre-top hat T-Pain was the end of his hot streak.

he really should've committed to the gag and made it like 7 minutes long, though. this album is nice, but it's definitely not as good as Epiphany. and as tired as I get of people hating on skits, they really are terrible on here and stop the album in its tracks several times.

Rather he played a ringleader, bringing out a contortionist, dancing midgets (one of them a mini-Britney Spears who actually stripped), and a fire-eater who set her pasties aflame. With each successive spectacle, the audience got more hyped.

When I saw him live I was impressed by how well he sang!

does he run his voice through AutoTune live now? I heard that he did, but he didn't back when I saw him live circa Epiphany.

back in 08 there was this site that i knew how to operate that would send you snippets of songs to your phone as ringtones, but then it died and i never bothered to find another site, so the only four custom ringtones i have on my phone are the choruses of "the boss", "she got it" and "beam me up" and terius' "fast car"
