There's this live Triumph the Insult Comic Dog DVD somewhere where he brings out the Dell dude who is a little fucking BEEYOTCH PRICK, and then they bring out sandwich dude Jared from the Subway commercials and he's all laid back and isn't trying to start a fight with a fucking HANDPUPPET because it's insulting him. If you already thought that dude you're getting a dell dude was lame before, I highly recommend finding this documentation of unadulterated asshattery.

Weird. I just clicked on this thread and a dialogue box popped up asking me for a password for something called "netfiles.uiuc.edu." I clicked cancel and it disappeared. Anyone else get this?

I never got asked for a password. I'm using netscape, when people do a .txt to get round geocities, it actually comes out as a text file.

So it was this thread with the password. I went to the New Answers page, opened up half a dozen tabs in Firefox, and went off to check the mail while they were all loading. When I came back, that box was here and I didn't know where the hell it had come from.

yes, I do that and I get a link to the site where the image is hosted, preceded by an 'i'. Apparently this happens when the image is over a certain size. I's kinda prejudiced against ppl who can't afford to have Photoshop for home use (it's an expensive app, not only in terms of cost but also hard disk space) to crop the pics to some unspecified smaller size. Gah!!

markh, you can resize photos in your ms paint, if you have windows (I know--it takes up a lot of disc space, too).

maybe you should buy a computer, for a change.

Weirdest compliment I ever got, from a girl in a coffee shop in New Braunfels, TX: "You look like Johnny Depp!" I look so little like Johnny Depp, I could only conclude that a) she was hitting on me, and b) she was an idiot. Not a pleasant combination.
