Missy E is boring. To me. All her songs trundle along at the same pace, all quiet, w/some nifty sound effects to distract us. OH I am disappointed, I was quite excited about her. I was wrong.

But Andrew, that's just patently false. Her songs vary from the quiet ("The Rain", "Work It") to the noisy ("Sock It To Me", "Slide") and encompass a fairly decent range of tempos (compare "Get Ur Freak On" to "The Rain" to "For My People" to "Work It").

i'm thru with being nice now...if you've actually heard 'Work It' and think 'fremme neppa venette' is what she's actually saying then you are a complete ignoramus...seriously, you dont even have to understand english to be able to tell that its a reversed lyric - i SWEAR if i didnt know the language i would still be able to figure that out, i mean come on...

My perspective on Missy is very different from many of the other posters here because when she first hit the scene, I loathed her. Part of her freshness for me comes from the fact that I actually dig her now.

Go to START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>ENTERTAINMENT>SOUND RECORDER and record the song with the mic. then go to effects and click reverse. you can then here what she is saying. Its nothing about being wet. its just the other lines backwards.
