Captain Lorax - Sin Ropas? I'm sure I read somewhere that they are not dissimilar to the Grifters.

Any truth in this in your opinion? I should go figure myself but am wondering

well there is big brooding rhythm/bluesy guitar lines with just the right amount of punch in the distortion. tim hurley of sin ropas was a member of red red meat. the music has great original, detailed atmospheres, an earthly sound and great singing (red red meat/grifters quality). very experimental quality to the sin ropas sound but the music is never lacking rhythm/beat like some experimental music.

like the grifters I admire the balance between creation and destruction and the non-corny (but cool) emotion in the music
