29. The fact that she is standing on some sort of elevated platform in front of a crowd, singing to them that it's Friday. I am imagining some sort of Dark City-esque alternate universe where everybody's short-term memory is constantly wiped out and no one knows what day it is except for Rebecca Black, so they all have to travel to her to find out what day it is. Except they're aware of--and embarassed about--their memory condition, so to make them feel better she sings every day of the week as a fun song.

i thought this video was pretty boring & not very memeworthy -- just seemed like a cheaply made video involving a girl that really loved 'lizzie mcguire' -- if bad green screen is all it takes to be a meme these days, someone should dig up some videos from the 90s

the song is fucking terrible tho & i don't really understand how it could be released to the internet

i think the funniest thing about this is that somehow, despite...everything, it's still an earworm. how was this stuck in my head as i went to sleep last night and then STILL THERE WHEN I WOKE UP? after just one viewing, most of which was spent making the :o face?

Yeah that was a favorite moment of mine too. On the sped-up version the 'FUNFUNFUNFUN' bit is the killer.

Dylan thing is funny, but I wish it was a little faster and more picky/strummy. Right now, it sounds like a Pink Floyd ballad.

This morning at the office, my coworker asked me if I’d heard this new internet sensation by some girl named Rebecca Black. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I realized it was already playing in my head when he asked. So I cried.

They photoshopped "Friday" on the Dylan 45 but didn't think to give R. Black the writing credit.
