ahh, I've gotten to the point where I'm burnt out on work. But only one week to the launch of three sites. argh. Also I'm still alone in the office which makes me feel like I shouldn't bother working.

I'm just about to go out to the shops. Then I'm going to do something about my work situation.

My new house is situated in such a way that I can sit here in front of the computer and watch planes taking off all day from Glasgow Airport, thus making me insanely jealous that I am not going on holiday.

Have been on phone to law school people all "lunchtime", "lunch" in quote marks as I haven't had a chance to get anything and this evening is ALL classes and I am never going to eat EVER omg.

Which actually probably is a good idea seeing as all you can eat sushi and cupcakes have made me put on 2lbs and when you've got another 7lbs to go is a BIG DEAL wah, neuroticism is me.

(Not 'all you can eat cupcakes', just 'all you can eat sushi')

(Although I did eat a lot of cupcakes but if you are the cook it is EXPECTED nay DEMANDED for quality control innit).

That looks like the "lake" which runs through downtown Austin. It is actually the Colorado River dammed up a bit.

I didn't have the most fun ever at the one beach party I went to I have to say, but I had considerably overdone it on the stuff so what do I expect, messy, messy, very messy.

I didn't darraghmac. Will definitely be spending more time up there in the near future. There's to be a wedding involving a member of my immediate family with one of yous at some point.

Oh, to answer your first question: I loved it. Just wonderful. The roads are fucking horrible though, you're right there.

Misery, soon the open sky agreement will be gone (or here, I'm unsure which) and it will all seem so much cheaper!

It is bloody freezing here today. We've had quite pleasant weather the last couple of days, but now it seems to have re-remembered that it's the West of Scotland and it's October :-/

Vet's office has called me twice this morning. Before the month is over I believe we will have given them well over $700. I think I should just start a tab. Animals will be the death of me.

Kitten apparently doesn't have ringworm (though we are suspicious of that culture's validity.) but she has some sort of protozoan parasite.

One of the cats outisde is nearly bald with ringworm and a sad case in general.

The weather is miserable in Edinburgh today. Rain, rain and more rain. Just when we'd been having a nice spell.

The weather was a bit cool this morning. Under 80 at least. Though the walk from my parking spot (ah the luxury) just now was kind of sweaty due to humidity. I think the high is still due to be around 90 today. ugh. Maybe we'll get fall by Thanksgiving.
