Lots of people I have met from the internet say they expected me to be short. I'm actually about 5'10". How come I seem short? I don't understand it.

One of my uncles is 6'11" - he had a house custom-built so he could fit in the doorways. It's like a giant's house - the bathrooms have a regular sink for us wee folk and a really really tall sink for him.
