My point was just that Rolling Stone's lists are usually populated by old white guys and I was pleasantly surprised to see this year's top ten much less so. Totally a valid point.

Those darn multicultis. Because of them this thread is just dominated by ballots of critics forced to vote due to political correctness for Waka, Gucci, Currency and for dancehall, Congolese rumba, reggaeton and old African-American soul singers. Poor Salem and Arcade Fire, done in by multicultis.

iirc, Rolling Stone leaves five slots open on their list, to be filled in by putting an intern's iPod on shuffle and slotting in the first 2010 song that comes up

haha it took me scrolling down a few entries to realize they did special graphics for each album and that every album on the list didn't have coincidentally similar aesthetics.

oh they're not horrible graphics or anything, it's just...a lot of effort for not a great deal of point. i'd rather see the actual sleeve in every case.
