i bought this for a buck a while ago and didn't ever love it. but i also didn't give it enough time and i think i got rid of it. i'll watch the vids, maybe it'll give me new insight to the whole thing

if you think mike batt is a somewhat cheezy songwriter, the main insight you'll glean from the video clips is that he's at least twice as bad in performance mode (some wrenching mime fondness on display), but if you have a nostalgic weakness for aching synthpop in the vein of planet p project and peter schilling, it might appeal, albeit painfully. and the artmusic interludes are striking, sometimes more so than the would-be hits.
