I voted for the Bing Crosby version of "Brother Can You Spare a Dime", kinda ridiculous that it had 2 versions nominated. Sad to see "Alexander's Ragtime Band" get shut out, but I already had 2 Irving Berlin songs in my top 10 and didn't really feel like voting for another.

There are quite a few on the no-voters list that I came very close to voting for, but cut at the last minute (for instance, having Hildegard Knef, Lucia Pamela, the Shaggs AND Mrs Miller was just far too much). Particularly sad about Daniel Johnston and the Raincoats, as those weren't even the victim of vote-splitting. 'Magic's Wand' by Whodini was on my ballot for ages until I realised I was being a bit silly.

Also, I don't think I actually noticed Love on the list, even though they had more than one song nominated - don't remember them even being on my first shortlist of around 300 songs, and they definitely would have been had I seen them.

I nominated "Sweet Surrender" and it was the last song I cut. Wish I hadn't.
