nah, it's not really working well because like grady said upthread, on tumblr it's all about getting a ton of followers, and even on these freak incidents where something sorta halfway blows up, i only get maybe 5-10 new followers. when something does get popular for a day or two, it's just because stonerparty or someone like that reblogs it, and then everything after that is just traffic coming from there. every once in a while some sad suckah will accidentally wander my way and click the "follow" button, but not many.

u gotta find a way 2 MONETIZE this

How many frames do these average? I"m impressed by how the little "tetris" bars seem to be going so much faster than the bird boots.

the one with the grid has 10 frames. In that one, there are 10 separate bird frames, and only 4 different sidewalk flower frames (which doesn't line up, of course, so I ended up having to kind of fib with the sidewalk in the final two frames, hopefully unnoticeably)

just got my first ever tablet, totally pumped!

yeah, it's just a loop of 4 different tracings of a photo, but it came out ok!

First 30 minutes with tablet = fuuuuuuuuuuuuu-
after that = much better

^basically me learning how to do anything new on a computer. just change "30 minutes" to "4 hours"

thanks, but tbh I always have trouble with the walking animation. I've tried several times, and for some reason I can only end up with a limping jog. Like this one I did a year or two ago, same deal:
