Doesn't bother me too turrible as long as I don't think of it as a foodstuff. Entire fungal family/kingdom/phyllum/etc ruled out for me, forever.

African wild dog:
We were in Botswana looking at a pack of 15-odd, thinking how cute they were and wondering what the smell was. Where your normal dog will mark its territory by running a slash under a tree, these dudes MARK THEIR PACK instead. THEY PISS AND CRAP ON ONE ANOTHER. So that's what the smell was.
