The guys in "Genesis" apparently borrowed their wives' blouses in an attempt to "go glam"

this thread is pure gold.
try and guess the drummer in each band....
also, why is dude in mixed breed holding a rake?

m0stlyClean, Saturday, 6 November 2010 23:11 (thirteen years ago) link

Actually, i think "Shucks... It's Country Music!" may be the greatest band name ever!

Lee626, Wednesday, 10 November 2010 22:24 (thirteen years ago) link

"Bob's Yer Uncle" might be the most frightening

Darin, Wednesday, 10 November 2010 22:33 (thirteen years ago) link

ninja! i think that's what i would've called my band if i had started a band when I was 7.

tylerw, Wednesday, 10 November 2010 22:36 (thirteen years ago) link

"Bob's Yer Uncle" looked a lot creepier before Sook Yin-Lee joined the band.

At least 3 of the dudes in Sparkle look like McPoyles.

Amazing thread.

L-R:
Mr. Richardson - the trendy liberal English teacher,
Flashbastard - the school bully,
Mr. Werther - the dodgy ex-con school caretaker,
Donny - head of the 6th form, popular with the ladies,
Timpkins - currently digging a secret tunnel into the school tuck shop,
Mr. Thompson - jaded Physics teacher who hates kids and wishes that he'd kept playing keyboards in that band instead.

This is the hardest I have ever laughed on ILM.

Some random thoughts:

*Boy, MTV really DID ruin it for all the 'not at all attractive' dudes in bands, huh?

*A lot of these delusional creeps have wives. Imagine having to be "supportive" of Lenny and his friends rehearsing for the next Kartoon gig at Scabby's on Wednesday night.

*Pretty much every woman pictured in this thread gave me a chubbie.
