WFMU Record Fair

so Ronnie Spector showed up in the last hour! I'd be aghast at missing that if I hadn't seen her perform twice.

Oh, I saw her walk by me at the LP Mod table.

I missed Tokyo Rozoemary, as I probably didn't show up til closer to 4:30... I got a few records, stayed within my budget. <3

Anyone going to RadioVision things?

Robin Edgerton (and me) will be going and doing some seriously cleaning out of her CD/Vinyl yet again as she pares her collection. As someone who's gotten to spend a fair deal of time rummaging through it in the past, I'm gonna tell you you're doing a disservice to yourself if you don't stop by her table. She'll be there all day Sunday and I'll be with her so please please stop by and say hi.

i will be going on saturday this year, fairly early afternoon, then hoping to hit the fluxus exhibit @ NYU's grey art gallery later in the afternoon if anyone's interested to go wit me & the wife.

Not sure of Sat plans; i'll be behind the LP table Sunday afternoon.

Some day I will be able to be in NYC for this.

I'm amped for this--bought a new turntable and haven't bought records in years. My friend tells me that classic rock records sell for a lot now because youngsters with a lot of money to burn are building collections. Somehow I thought there would be cheap copies of Exile on Main Street forever (I have lost a lot of records I had 30 years ago!)

Picked up a Folk Implosion record and that's it. Felt kind of defeated I couldn't pull the trigger on some other things in time and make the trip more worth it.

Vendor tables for WFMU's 2015 Record Fair are selling out quickly! This year's fair is May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at the Brooklyn Expo Center (72 Noble St in Greenpoint.

i was actually thinking of going halfsies on a table, but given the time crunch if i actually cull before moving i guess i'll just call ian.

does ian set up a table there? I haven't bumped into him at any of these yet.
