Oh dear I have a referral to the periodontologist soon (read 6weeks plus) so maybe I will just skip wot you're going on about and report back re CAKES. I made I made:

- lemon and poppyseed cakes with ginger wine icing
- creme de cassis and poppyseed (why yes I had some seeds to use up, wai 2 u ask) muffins with CdC icing
- big ole ginger cake (5 types of ginger!) with lemon icing

All went down a treat!

Oh, it isn't this weekend, it is the weekend after this one, oh I rushed to get an extra baking tray at lunchtime for no reason. Phew! At least this means I don't have to go supermarket after work. Good good.

I know what I meant to say. I was talking to a Finnish girl last night, and can report not all the Finns are twats. Also, she thinks the reason there are so many Tuomasalikes in Finland is because of their language, which has no gender structure at all.

It is Mister M's birthday on Thursday, and there is nothing he wants. We are going to a gig in the evening (with Emsk! And possibly the Pinefox!) and I am taking him out for dinner beforehand. Sarah have you ever had a dark and stormy? A friend was telling me about them last night and I must say, even though I'm not a huge fan of rum, it sounded tempting. She had one with ginger beer instead of ale, served up with a thin ginger wedge garnish and it sounded tatsy.
