thought it was overkill for them to BOTH play new songs about it, would've been okay if it was just one. i wonder if they heard each other's songs at all in advance.

"Kings And Queens" is a beautiful video, tbh. Its Donnie Darko/Warriors/BatForLashed concept is def hella played out, but the art direction and cinematography are gorgeous.

i don't know what the video has to do w/ any of those things except i guess Warriors, but yeah, it is a good video (and a good song imo). is Caramanica a butthurt Muse fan?

funny, i heard that as "ambers," not embers, and assumed she was dropping in one more kanye reference just to be cute and clever.

on paper, that song reads awful, like some bad collegiate singer-songwriter crap, but i thought the actual performance was moving.

i also liked how kanye's response, in addition to being, "you think i'm a douchebag? well, yeah, i AM a douchebag, so what?," was also, "you think you know how to sing off-key? well, get a load of this."
