hopefully but the only way to keep wedge cool is to use him like they did in the original trilogy. he just shows up at a key point, does something incredibly dope that is noted with maybe a mere "great shot wedge!" or something, nothing meta and nothing over the top and no backstory. Then he peaces. repeat once for each film.

you'd think as one of the two non-han/luke survivors of the death star attack in Ep 4 wedge would have received a medal at the end there. he saved luke's skin at least once.

the rebel alliance has a suspicious bias toward the main characters of the films, leading me to believe we might not be getting the real story
