Ha ha NEVER!

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 14:07 (sixteen years ago) link

Thanks Ms. M! Ed will be delighted. Now to view your brother's vid from all four of my youtube accounts.

accentmonkey, Friday, 28 September 2007 14:32 (sixteen years ago) link

How do you have so many that's crazy? I don't think you have to log in to make a view count though. I don't have a youtube account (I don't think. . .)

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 14:35 (sixteen years ago) link

It's good to have lots of accounts on the Internet. You just never know.

accentmonkey, Friday, 28 September 2007 15:44 (sixteen years ago) link

I have a feeling that I am not going to get the house. I am now a sad panda :(

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 15:56 (sixteen years ago) link

:( If you don't, it was not meant to be. There is a better house out there waiting for you.

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:04 (sixteen years ago) link

I just watched it twice, Sam, and I'll do some more later.

Y'all wake me up when it's time to go home, please.

luna, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:04 (sixteen years ago) link

I'm torn, I think 2 and a half grand would clinch it but I'm getting it in the neck from family not to do it. ARGH! Still though, I must not smoke, I must not smoke.

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:06 (sixteen years ago) link

Wait, we can view it through our youtube accounts? I think I have one. I'll start watching now if that's the case.

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:11 (sixteen years ago) link

haha, thanks! I will (again) when I get home too.

Will it count multiple views from the same computer as additional views. I know nothing about this video stuff. You can watch it straight from that link.

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:21 (sixteen years ago) link

I've refreshed a couple of times and the count is going up so I think it's fine. They'll probably note that there's a repetition of ip addresses bur I wouldn't worry too much...

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:23 (sixteen years ago) link

I'm sure that's the only way people with 50k views got there.

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:25 (sixteen years ago) link

I watched it, too, Sam. Bets of luck to him.

Michael White, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:25 (sixteen years ago) link

On 7th viewing. I think one more and then basta!

Have a good weekend everyone.

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:26 (sixteen years ago) link

Of course: very best of luck to your brother. I'll watch it this weekend when I should have sound to understand why he's offering an old NES...

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:27 (sixteen years ago) link

I'm beginning to wonder if in the future all jobs will be given based on reality-tv show type competition.

On 7th viewing. I think one more and then basta!

Haha, you're awesome esp. with now sound. He's trying to show how old-school he is by showing all the prizes he's won in their competitions before (not really of course).

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:28 (sixteen years ago) link

Fair enough. Looking forwards to it.

kv_nol, Friday, 28 September 2007 16:29 (sixteen years ago) link

Put your washed casing on the funnel like some condom affair:

Fill it with sausage:

Until you have a giant long one:

aldo, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:21 (sixteen years ago) link

Link it up, like some demented, slowcore-loving butcher:

Made into stuff for yourself, and some for mates to get brownie points (and hopefully not poison them):

They look more like sausages after they have 'bloomed' in the fridge, which I suspect is a euphemism for 'rot a bit'.

aldo, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:23 (sixteen years ago) link

Liquor cabinet? Check.

Snausages? Check.

I'm coming over, Aldo, what time does the bouze and eatz start?

Michael White, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:27 (sixteen years ago) link

Sossies not ready to eat till tomorrow evening at the earliest. :-(

aldo, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:29 (sixteen years ago) link

You guys are making your own sausages? That's hardcore. Did you buy that meat-grinder just for making sausages Aldo?

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:32 (sixteen years ago) link

Sad as it sounds, yes.

aldo, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:49 (sixteen years ago) link

I am still practicing, this is only my second batch. (First was all pork, this is pork and beef.)

aldo, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:50 (sixteen years ago) link

Too much work at the wrong height, I need to go to the pub to soothe my back.

aldo, Friday, 28 September 2007 17:52 (sixteen years ago) link

I need to go to the pub to soothe a little bit of everything.

My brother says he just heard some of the audio from his audition during a promo on the radio station. That is good!

Misery, Friday, 28 September 2007 19:12 (sixteen years ago) link

Excellent, Sam.

Michael White, Friday, 28 September 2007 19:47 (sixteen years ago) link

I'm torn, I think 2 and a half grand would clinch it but I'm getting it in the neck from family not to do it.

Over 25 years that will work out around €4 a week. Not worth missing out on a house for tbh.

I missed my quiz thing but got drunked anyway.

onimo, Friday, 28 September 2007 20:11 (sixteen years ago) link

I am eating last night's arrabiata which is nomnomnom as the chili flakes have kicked in nicely.

aldo's sossidges look nummy.

onimo, Friday, 28 September 2007 20:12 (sixteen years ago) link

Aldo has a Devo hat on his booze. And yes, the sossidges look grebt.

ailsa, Saturday, 29 September 2007 08:05 (sixteen years ago) link

I agree with o about kv_lol's price increase.

I do have a Devo hat on my booze, and in taking the picture I found a bottle of Canadian whisky (opened, 2/3 drunk) I'd forgotten in previous lists.

I am slightly onimoed this morning (just checked the clock, it still is morning, just) and am going to watch the first part of The Key To Time while lusting over Mary Tamm and drinking coffee.

aldo, Saturday, 29 September 2007 10:55 (sixteen years ago) link

What spices are in those sausages? And what's that condiment on them on the plate? They look great, btw.

Rock Hardy, Sunday, 30 September 2007 19:03 (sixteen years ago) link

I present Foxy Brown:

I'm in yr laptop, givin u ringworm

Took her to the vet yesterday where I paid $285 to discover she had a "parasite party" going on (according to the vet). We have a ton of medicines to give her for a variety of things, including ringworm. As I'm describing her condition to George he thrusts out his hand and says "Is this ringworm?" Me: "LOL! you gots ringworm!" Unfortunately he has it in more than one place. I, so far, appear to be uninfected. But it just adds another layer of hassle to having this kitten. I won't even go into the adult cats those fuckwits left behind. Have to go back to work now.

Misery, Sunday, 30 September 2007 20:56 (sixteen years ago) link

Ms. M, you and your bloke are heroes to kittens and full-grown kitties everywhere. Wear your ringworm scars with pride.

accentmonkey, Sunday, 30 September 2007 22:36 (sixteen years ago) link

What spices are in those sausages? And what's that condiment on them on the plate?

Since I'm still at the practice stage, I bought a pre-mix 'breakfast sausage' spice mix (mace, black pepper, sage are the main ingredients, from memory) from the place I got my casings from. Lazy, I know, but I think my next batch will see the start of experimenting more. The condiment is just an onion gravy I knocked up to go with them.

aldo, Monday, 1 October 2007 08:44 (sixteen years ago) link

The drug dealers across the street left? YAY! Sorry to hear they left you sick. Foxy Brown is very pretty.

Over 25 years that will work out around €4 a week. Not worth missing out on a house for tbh.

Sadly OTM. I've not heard back but if he comes out with negative I'll try offering the 305k. Why not? Think I lost it though :(

Great job with those sausages Aldo. They look really tasty!

kv_nol, Monday, 1 October 2007 08:50 (sixteen years ago) link

Bear in mind you think "over 25 years, that'll only be €4 a week", but then you go "it'll only be €10" etc and before you know it, you've convinced yourself you can afford something you can't. You have to draw the line somewhere. Mind you, when we sold our house, it went to sealed bids, and there were three bids within £175 of each other. We took the highest offer, but the one who was outbid by £50 will feel shite when the price appears on one of those house price websites :-/

ailsa, Monday, 1 October 2007 08:55 (sixteen years ago) link

Yeah, on the one hand, it's only €4 a week now, but interest rates, blah blah, you never know.

However, Kv, don't let your family talk you in or out of a property you want and honestly feel you can afford, even if it means beans and spuds every single day for the first five years. My dad tried to convince me not to buy my first house, and he was WRONG.

If it is lost, fear not. Another one will be along in a minute.

accentmonkey, Monday, 1 October 2007 09:24 (sixteen years ago) link

Houses are like buses.

aldo, Monday, 1 October 2007 09:37 (sixteen years ago) link

very expensive buses that you can't afford.

darraghmac, Monday, 1 October 2007 09:53 (sixteen years ago) link

on that note, morning.

darraghmac, Monday, 1 October 2007 09:54 (sixteen years ago) link

ning

My house/bus analogy was based on my house being red like buses, err, used to be.

aldo, Monday, 1 October 2007 09:58 (sixteen years ago) link

I saw a red double decker on the M8 the other day. You can hire it for stag nights or something. I suppose you can fit more drunken twats in a bus than you can in a stretch limo or a fire engine.

onimo, Monday, 1 October 2007 10:02 (sixteen years ago) link

Clyde One Cars appear to own a Routemaster, it's often to be found in the car park at the Tesco across from my old house. I look forward to seeing drunken twats swinging round the pole at the back* then falling off.

(* as opposed to the Pole at the front in the driver's seat, ho ho)

ailsa, Monday, 1 October 2007 10:04 (sixteen years ago) link

You can rent fire engines for parties?!?

Sorry no news on the house front, kv.

Up early to work as trying to get an early bus is just pointless. Guess I should work then.

How in the hell did it become October already?

Misery, Monday, 1 October 2007 10:25 (sixteen years ago) link

Aye you regularly see Fire Engine hen party things in Glasgow on a Saturday night. I don't know if they come with hott firemen or not.

onimo, Monday, 1 October 2007 10:28 (sixteen years ago) link

For Sam:

http://www.crazyfirecompany.com/

and yes, they *do* come with hott firemen, as I know someone who applied for the job of being a hott fireman.

ailsa, Monday, 1 October 2007 10:29 (sixteen years ago) link

"The Hire Brigade" - puntastic! They have a pink fire engine.
