can we just blanket state "extreme grossout videos" here? like all of the seriously deranged deviant sex stuff like 2g1c and death/dismemberment videos and the like

people are for loving (HI DERE), Monday, 9 August 2010 21:07 (4 years ago) Permalink

elephant rob, Monday, 9 August 2010 21:09 (4 years ago) Permalink

How do you feel about horror movies, Mr. DERE?

no gut busting joke can change history (polyphonic), Monday, 9 August 2010 21:14 (4 years ago) Permalink

yeah, but those have like narratives and stuff

elephant rob, Monday, 9 August 2010 21:15 (4 years ago) Permalink

How do you feel about wall-o-ginas?

no gut busting joke can change history (polyphonic), Monday, 9 August 2010 21:20 (4 years ago) Permalink

they are great, especially stealth walloginas

people are for loving (HI DERE), Monday, 9 August 2010 21:21 (4 years ago) Permalink

most of those looked pretty noisy to me

goole, Monday, 9 August 2010 21:23 (4 years ago) Permalink

I dunno, maybe I'm a total freak, but rotten.com has some edifying moments. Like pictures of dead Mussolini.

I haven't looked at rotten.com since like 1999

maybe this is only something that my dumb queer friends and i find funny when we're drunk, but uh, some people don't understand why parts of this make me absolutely cry laughing:

a repulsive person and/or a repulsive sphincter (the table is the table), Monday, 9 August 2010 21:28 (4 years ago) Permalink

the one time I looked at The Stile Report, it had pictures of a dude on PCP who scraped off his face with broken glass and fed it to his dog

do not want

lol bnw

Fred/Edith Ann parallel is kind of OTM. I remember when I was a kid I used to always like Gilda's caffinated "Judy Miller Show" character.

Whiney G. Weingarten, Monday, 9 August 2010 21:29 (4 years ago) Permalink

i have never seen this Stile report tho.

oh, no, i have seen Stile Project, it's just really gross porn now. not really that shocking.

I at least "get" most internet memes unless they're too niche-referential, but I'm probably the only person here that can be brought to tears laughing at stuff like this (warning: loud)

fred is the less good version of shaye st john imo

gross rainbow of haerosmith (underrated aerosmith albums I have loved), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:20 (4 years ago) Permalink

amusing, but it doesnt make me weep like Jiz.

a repulsive person and/or a repulsive sphincter (the table is the table), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:23 (4 years ago) Permalink

Yeah, that was funny. It's so obviously just two guys fucking around making up jokes as they go but that's part of the fun. :D

Janet Privacy Control (corey), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:28 (4 years ago) Permalink

the one time I looked at The Stile Report, it had pictures of a dude on PCP who scraped off his face with broken glass and fed it to his dog

That's not what happened. Now they think that he just passed out and his dogs (not just one dog) chewed on his face in an effort to wake him up, just like what happened with that face transplant case in France.

i've always kind of hated the "boom goes the dynamite" video

Donna and the pitfall of being pulchritudinous (donna rouge), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:40 (4 years ago) Permalink

ok maybe "hated" is too strong but it's so uncomfortable that i really couldn't fathom wanting to watch it again and again or sending it to friends

Donna and the pitfall of being pulchritudinous (donna rouge), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:42 (4 years ago) Permalink

The Stile Project turned into a porn site sometime around 2001. I've often suspected that it was always intended to become a porn site after a short time of showing shock material to attract attention.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:42 (4 years ago) Permalink

xp yeah laughing at that kid always seemed kind of churlish and mean

dyao, Tuesday, 10 August 2010 02:43 (4 years ago) Permalink

i think with fred we can safely bypass the "WHAT IS THIS!?!?" straight to the "no, i've figured it out and i'm better than this shit"

terry squad (k3vin k.), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 03:00 (4 years ago) Permalink

We're not even talking about cats here.

ô_o (Nicole), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 03:03 (4 years ago) Permalink

seriously, can someone explain why the double rainbow thing is "funny" or "interesting"

Like no gut busting joke said, I think it's funny because the guy attaches some incredible portentousness to seeing a natural phenomenon. To the point of crying uncontrollably and asking "what does it mean?" which, when one is talking about a rainbow, is pretty funny. It means the sun is shining into rain at a particular angle. It's neat looking, but for fuck's sake.

in original WoW video, l33t should be 1337. that's basic.

"goof proof cooking, I love it!" (Z S), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 03:17 (4 years ago) Permalink

This is weird to me, because I'm usually easily annoyed, but I think I get Fred, and I find him entertaining. He's camp for kids! Not the kind of camp that sneaks in to so many cartoons and children's shows that's really meant for parents or stoners or whatever other adults are going to end up watching the show, but really targeted at kids themselves. It seems to me that kids are supposed to watch this and be amused by the recognition of the (often incredibly annoying) things that they and other kids do and say. It's not entertaining because screaming and freaking out are innately funny, it's entertaining because the recognition that childish histrionics are horrible is funny.

salad fingers is another case of "I know exactly what this is doing and it's fucking irritating"

Janet Privacy Control (corey), Tuesday, 10 August 2010 15:29 (4 years ago) Permalink

Yes, but when people tell me how funny it is, I feel as though I'm missing something. I like dark humour etc but only when it's funny.

is homestar runner 'incredibly popular'?

My kids memorised all the Annoying Orange sketches and recite them to each other. I think it's shit, but then my dad hates Vic Reeves and his dad hated Monty Python.

Not surprising that out of everyone I know forwarding and LOLing at this, all but one has been white and moderately well-off (and grown up in the middle-class suburbs or city).
