worst Drake song on the radio PART TWO

voted for the "Lose My Mind" remix, which is the wrongest thing that has ever happened in a remix to a good rap song

I'm not familiar with all of these, but that stoner bullshit on "Over" ("What I am doing? Oh yeah, that's right, I'm doing me") that repeats endlessly is the worst chorus ever.

Drake is insufferable and the songs I've heard from this list really blow.

His verse on "Wavin' Flag" (shit regardless) is horrid.

it seems almost too predictable to pick "bedrock", but it's really "bedrock"

"over" is obviously fucking terrible -- i thought the beat was aight at first, but after hearing it incessantly on the radio it reminds me of, like, the worst possible interpretation of "maxwell's silver hammer", wherein we are literally being beat over the head

"say something" is okay, at least it has that pretty cool synth riff, by latter day timbo standards at least

i don't mind "miss me"... for a straight rap song it's miles better than "over" and doesn't feature many of the most grating drake tics -- also i like "'do right and kill everything'"

the remix of "throw it in the bag" that he's on with the big "fancy" flip is prob one of the more redeemable things he's been associated with

yeah that one is really loathsome to me, Drake kind of has the same problem as Pharrell or The-Dream (minus their talent) of these really wordy overwritten choruses that sometimes just go on forever. also it may surpass "Success" as the most Drakey Drake song ever for lines like "it's funny how one person's success brings pain" and "I AM THE TOPIC OF CONVERSATION/ IT'S A CELEBRATION"

"over" is def one song where i thought it was okay when i first heard it and grew to truly despise it over time

How "Over" wins over "BedRock" or the god-awful "Waving Flag" is beyond me.

probly cuz "BedRock" at least tries to be fun (whether u think it succeeds at that or not is another matter...), whereas "Over" takes Drake's humorless po-faced "po' me" steeze to unlistenable new extremes

i've never heard "wavin flag" & it's not on the radio 24/7

i realized that the two big "wavin flag" haters itt are the canadians

anyway, i'm reviving this thread to come out in favor of "miss me" -- drake's verse is kind of annoying but it gets going a bit towards the middle, and the wayne verse is a bit of a charmer actually once he gets through a few bars -- also i think the transition from drake's verse into the chorus is good & the chorus itself is nice

prob one song i never would've cared about, but it def benefits from its radio surroundings atm, as there aren't many songs out right now of dudes just rapping, altho most radio stations seem to play that torturous outro for some reason

yeah "Miss Me" ain't bad, although i think Wayne is kind of terrible on it, maybe because the beat reminds me of "Cannon" and of how much better he used to attack beats like that. also the chorus/outro is so fucking awkward and i might be turning around on the song again because of how embarrassing Drake is in the video.
