lunch, from beyond bread (i got the half-sandwich, which was pretty generously sized):
Enzo's Ending-NEW! $6.50Pepperoni, ham, provolone, pepperoncini, lettuce, tomato,red onion, Italian dressing on a Torpedo Roll. Half $4.25
and now for dinner i'm enoying some soppressata and asiago cheese that i got at trader joe's. it seems to have made it home ok in the heat, but if i get food poisoning i'll know why.

What is Sopressata?
A salami made from cured-dry pork and flavored with and black peppercorns. This meat cures between 6-8 weeks [air-dried]. It comes in hot and sweet flavors. It is also made with either ground black pepper or red pepper. {since they use a larger casing for sopressata, it takes a longer time to cure than the traditional Italian sausage.}
