Duplex?

Nope, full house. As Dan notes, we had to scrub the blood out.

When I was younger, though, we did live in the left side of this duplex near SF:

Okay, seriously, if I had lived in a house that looked like the one from the Amityville Horror when I was a kid, I would not have slept. EVER

xp NO IT DOES NOT HELP

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:02 (fifteen years ago) link

sorry I am so crabby, but I will be at hospital and then at home writing up whatever I find out about my patient so that I can get up at 4:30 am on Sat. morning to go back to the hospital.

My attitude is just hopeless of late.

I'm angrier than John McCain at a debate!

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:04 (fifteen years ago) link

would it help if i said that they were really awesome shoes?

xpost um i guess not oops

CHARMING LMAO (John Justen), Friday, 7 November 2008 07:04 (fifteen years ago) link

(also apparently struggling with metaphors)

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:04 (fifteen years ago) link

I'm happy for you having good shoes, John. I did not like to imagine you walking around with cardboard on your feet during another Minnesota winter.

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:05 (fifteen years ago) link

tiger onitsuka ultimate 81 in oatmeal/carrot!!!!

(that is actually not just a random string of words. i swear. it describes shoes.)

I SEE SHOES

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:20 (fifteen years ago) link

I am having a moment of amusement at John wearing shoes in "oatmeal and carrot."

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:20 (fifteen years ago) link

(during the long winter if times get tough, I guess John can eat them, though)

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:21 (fifteen years ago) link

thx sara. i am glad that you respect my survivalist instinct.

you really should plan an escape to citified fun some day soon to remove stress.

CHARMING LMAO (John Justen), Friday, 7 November 2008 07:22 (fifteen years ago) link

thx John. I will come up as soon as I can, but I have to finish this class first. I fear that "remove stress" could translate to my own demise, as at this point drinking enough to kill myself sounds pretty good, but I think I'm just CRANKY SARA.

I'm happy as long as *I* don't have to eat those shoes.

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 07:25 (fifteen years ago) link

Okay, I'm going to go do that sleep thing that all the kids seem so into these days.

'Night all.

(and thx for sharing yr shoe pix, Scurvy)

fluffy bear, listening to old school opera singers: who'd have thunk it!?

not i, certainly.

i hope that is not too creepy.

He's an eclectic bear.

I'm gonna nerd out for a second and gloat about the fact that, according to the World of Warcraft Armory, I picked up the best cloth armor pants possible in game last night WOOO WOOO WOOO WOOO WOOO A WINNER IS ME. Take that, Archimonde!

(Archimonde is the boss monster we had to kill; it takes 25 ppl to do it. 2 pieces of gear dropped that I could use and I won one of them on a random roll. </explanationforsara>)

Old Opera singers that i think of fondly that no one else remembers - Mado Robin, Jussi Bjorling.

well you guys might but no one else does.

CHARMING LMAO (John Justen), Friday, 7 November 2008 15:45 (fifteen years ago) link

CHARMING LMAO (John Justen), Friday, 7 November 2008 15:45 (fifteen years ago) link

Feeling sad that I have no idea who John is talking about.

(not kidding!)

Sara R-C, Friday, 7 November 2008 16:22 (fifteen years ago) link

bjorling was on the highest played artists list!

is it wrong that i kind of HATE callas?

;n_n; (tehresa), Friday, 7 November 2008 17:11 (fifteen years ago) link

I'd say it's understandable; people liked her more for interpretation/spectacle than they did for "omg pretty voice"; she was kind of the template for Jane Eaglen.

guys, i think i may have seriously fucked my neck, and i'm not sure how. wednesday: woke up fine, about 30 mins later it was sore and got worse through out the day, jordan massaged it, slept fine; woke up thursday, it felt fine, 30 mins later it's seizing up again. massaged it again last night, slept fine. woke up this morning in agony and can barely turn my head.

it's not exactly my neck: it's kind of the tendon or something between my neck and shoulder.

undiscovered cuntry (Rubyredd), Friday, 7 November 2008 17:16 (fifteen years ago) link

Stress? I often have issues there when stressed.

A socialist who's happy to spread the wealth (Susan), Friday, 7 November 2008 17:18 (fifteen years ago) link

I would try getting something like Ben Gay or Icy Hot and applying that to the area while lying down. If the problem persists into tomorrow, see a doctor.
