StaggerLee, as a quick note, there is a little bit of clicking on your file, I know it's kinda LoFi and that's cool but doesn't sound like it's a file transfer glitchy sound, more like it's in the original recording. Can you check the file and see? I actually don't mind it at-all because it sounds like vinyl crackles.

Yeah, it's a fault/feature of the broken-and-breaking-down equipment I was working with. Ancient, not-very-well-taken-care-of Tascam 424 for the bed tracks, then played through a lousy stereo while I sing a live vocal into two microphones plugged into a really ancient Sony reel-to-reel 2-track. But the reel-to-reel had issues keeping the tape in the track, so I had to add tension by running the tape around a pencil before it hit the machine heads, which caused speed issues and the occasional click before devolving into a gimmick at the end.

Wish I'd redone the mix/vox a few more times - there's almost no bass and the drums are horrendously loud etc. but the reel-to-reel (being all but defunct anyway) is now at the recycling depot.
