Ditto what Tom says, keep the cost down. Then make a claim against Alice in a small claims court for what she owes you. Simple.

All the info you need is here - if its over £100 pounds then go for it (she will also be liable for any additional court costs you had incurred anyway and you have a good case). All details (and forms) are at the The Court service website.

Okay, well - I will be paid again on Friday so with the money from Lixi I should be able to pay the lot off. I will go in person but that means being rather late into work and I will speak to them about the court charges. I will ALSO look into small claims court yes, if Alice still doesn't intend on paying up. She's not taking any money from MY pocket (credit card hem hem).

Tom, that would be TOO MEAN. Tongue-kisses are demanded by polite society these days.

I seem to have missed something. What money of Sarah's is not being returned now?

Anthony, I really hate to say this, but I'm not sure that sitting at your computer browsing ILX is going to address any of these problems in a very helpful fashion. Unless your essay is on records mentioning telephones, or this week's 'Chat'.
