Sorry if this has already been said, but can I just send a top 10 for tracks? I'm stuck staring at the list and I know if I try to do all 20 it'll never be finished, whereas if I can just chuck 10 in there it'll be fine.

And for some reason I was operating under the impression it was 30 slots each, so now I'm going to have to get rid of 10 albums. Gah.

Oh no shit I only voted for fifteen of each, oops duh! Does that screw things up? Only my albums were ranked btw.

I am taking Wicked Witch off my ballot, even though it was initially quite high, as it isn't technically an album from this year. I am very sorry. It deserves to place anyway.

(As in, it's a reissue... which means it's still eligible, just not for my ruthless cutting purposes.)

Aw, I've sent mine in now. But in case you want to do some last minute listening, have you considered the Trembling Bells, Belbury Poly or Position Normal albums? Note that these are not the top 3 of my poll, but ones that I think may be overlooked and could do with extra votes. I've kind of reconciled myself with the fact that I'll be the only person to vote for Arthur & Martha, otherwise I'd be pushing for them, too.

Also, if you want something rockier, I didn't vote for Lovvers in the end, but they're good guys and could do with some lovve.

Belbury Poly may well feature somewhere on my ballot :)

I've only heard one track from the position normal cassette, but I liked it.

End of the day for wherever, I guess, with the absolute latest ballots being counted if received before 11:59 PST.

i didn't want people to have to convert PST to their time, so just submit it while it's the 22nd where you are. I won't be doing the calculations at midnight anyway so i don't care.

So… I only paid money (which I consider the base level of actual YES! interest in music anymore) for 18 albums out of the list, but at least I got a ballot in. A thin, lonely ballot that won't change anything, but hey, I voted for Nader.
