i dont remember. But this year it's ranked lists. It was all decided on the nominations thread and noone objected.

Yep, it was #16 on my list. Good record, but I ranked the Nadja and Black Boned Angel full-lengths a bit higher.

I'm working on mine. It won't be a long one as I've been listening to way more old SST stuff than metal this year (and of the metal I am listening to, I'm mostly catching up on last year).

I think pretty much everyone liked the baroness record. (yob too, yeah.)

Yeah, and that's why I put it that high, but I sensed a move towards the end of the year that on balance it had been slightly over-rated and that the Kylesa record had been slept on a bit.

Mordy - I got to hear that Jamie Saft album and it's pretty good. Don't know if it would have bumped something else off my ballot, but thanks for being so vocal a supporter. Definitely worth having in the collection.

actually theres 5 ties for no 100 but there's no ties as such because 1 album has more actual voters than the others. so i think thats good enough. i only count as a tie if an album has the same points and number of voters and has zero no1 votes. A no1 vote places ahead of number of voters in my system.
