The NHL used Andrew W.K. in their commercials a few years back. The one that goes "so let's get a party goin' (let's get a party goin') let's get a party goin'". But then, everybody uses Andrew W.K. in their commercials.

this sounds liek a cheesy 70s movie (well except in the early 90s) but i remember going to a campground one summer and my brother and sister were with me in a little recreation lounge with a pool table and juke box and we played "Oh What a NIght" over and over again while we all danced about the room and on the pool table. someone probabyl pretended to play a pool cue as a guitar. i cant remember.

Dud, obviously, unless it's YOUR team lucky (or talented!) enough to have won the big enchilada; then it's tolerable.

Beyond intolerable if you're a Calgary Flames supporter like (presumably) Miss Lonelyhearts.

And yes, "We Are The Champions" is still better than "Oh What A Night." (I remember that '97 Wings victory in question. Can't forget McCarty's goal on Hextall!)
