yeah, first three albums are great, Na Laetha Geal M'óige and Lothlórien especially. later stuff is blah. although May It Be from the Lord of the Rings movie was pretty solid.

Only Time is off her best and most consistent proper album btw. Short as, but very high quality right the way through.

Just got a vinyl copy of Watermark from a secret santa at the radio station I dj at. the perfect remedy for spending hours in front of a word processor. just put it on...cannot wait to weep when On Your Shore comes on. oh man.

By coincidence I did buy the Enya album w/ O-Flo on it this weekend. Pretty much a charity shop 99p staple in the UK, not sure why I broke down and actually bought the thing this time round.

Oh, not distant at all in many ways. I'm sure if I hadn't been an Enya fan in 1988 I wouldn't've fallen as hard for the Cocteaus as I did in late '89. Also makes perfect sense they were both featured vocalists on The Fellowship of the Ring, though not on the same track.
