Fun fact about Nekromantik: before the late 90s, Finland used to have pretty tight movie censorship laws, which meant that a few films were totally forbidden here. Nekromantik was one of those films. So in the early 90s, Love & Anarchy, a Helsinki Film Festival, arranged a special cruise on one of the cruise boats that sail between Helsinki and Tallinn. On the cruise they screened Nekromantik and other forbidden films, which were legal to show once the boat had passed the borders of Finland.
