Bikeathon

A couple of years ago I went for a bike ride on a sunny Sunday in the summer. I went down the Lea Valley to Old Ford, cut across the Hertford Union canal just under Victoria Park and then went down through Mile End on the Regent's Canal. As I got to the edge of the Isle of Dogs I suddenly found myself surrounded by cyclists. I seemed to fit in with them as most of them were wearing yellow tops (like me) so I though I'd join the action and ride around with them for a bit. They all had numbers on their backs saying 'London Bikeathon' and something about a leukaemia charity. I thought to myself 'this sounds like a good idea - I must remember to do this officially next year'. Then I rode back home and forgot all about it.

I hope I remember to do it next year.
