i mean old ilx threads had "thread.php?msgid=X" not "ThreadSelectedControllerServlet?boardid=X&threadid=X"

Most of those URLs will eventually expire from the cache, and the threads they point to will be referenced in the ILX2 way, except perhaps for those trapped as links in other pages.
