Durant has a sweet game, but rarely does it inspire fist-pumping excitement.

They have plenty of great shooters; big need is a penetrator / distributor to find them open shots.

Durant fun like Dirk because his shot is more or less unblockable so defenders are always stressing out on him.

Only ugly thing about his game is the pitcher-beard he's got going.

if they can't re-sign lance it gives them a good opportunity to target wing shooting, which they definitely need

PG/West/Lance/Hill all great open-look shooters. What they're not so hot doing is either creating their own shots or hitting well-contested shots. They've had zero ball movement / spacing, so they've been taking a shitton of low% shots last few months.

they cld obvs use good shooting everywhere but its their two non shooting big scheme thats really hurting them imo

If Lance leaves and they invest in wing shooting please shoot me.

TOs and ball development are their actual problems, shipping Hill for someone is the switch they'll have to make.

george hill is a fine player but with the way their team is constructed he's a liability. they need lance's ball creation because hill can't really do that but lance also scrimps their spacing heavily because he's not a knock down shooter.

Yeah, I mean I love Hill, it's just really clear that he's a spot-up shooter and good defender and not much else. He'd be a great sg coming off the bench, but the Pacers are so goddamn fumbly with the ball that they really need a dedicated point in there.

it's really hard to figure what to do with them because their starting 5 is pretty entrenched. lance's future holds they key... if they bring him back they need to upgrade on hill but they would be maxed out on salary and hill's contract isn't exactly a gift

They weird thing about this 2nd half of season is that Lance is doing a ton of penetrating but there's no off-ball movement / no 2nd pass after Lance's. Lance hasn't seemed as active this 2nd half but the real culprit is teammates not doing much to get open.

Hill's contract looked a lot better when Lance was 2nd team.

Can't believe they still have an inside chance at the #1 seed, hope East is thoroughly ashamed.

Hill makes more than monta, his contract has never looked good
