Jak and Daxter 1 is basically Super Mario 64 with Crash Bandicoot's moveset.

I am playing through the Jak HD Collection right now, currently near the end of Jak II, and oh man, there were some seriously bad decisions made with this series.

Decisions undoubtedly informed by the fact that GTA is making a lot of money, oh yes.
At some point though, someone undoubtedly said "extreme" with a straight face, and a guitar squeal materialised out of nowhere, haunting all present.
