to me, lunch is way more interesting than discussing some nyt article or corny indie music, but that might be because i have a fast metabolism and crazy blood sugar dips that lead me to GIS things "bacon hot dogs" at 4:30 pm everyday

Twitter is nice when you have people you actually see in real life, in your own town, using it. I don't get the whole backlash of people following tech blogger dudes who are using it to write "omg, I am tech blogging!" every hour and then complaining about it. Uh, find someone useful to follow?

This shit was great at music festivals this summer or when trying to figure out what people are doing on a friday night, sure beats broadcast text messages.

I don't have one. I don't know anyone that uses it, hence question. Maybe I will get one.

The only one I know who uses it is Jon. I think it's fun but doubt I'd ever use it as the only thing I do is either work, play with my daughter or knit... or read. Y'know, the same shit every day. I doubt people would be interested in me singing the Miffy tune for the 545864th time cause Ophelia asked for it. I don't get the criticism though. I mean, unless you completely sever yourself from the internet, cut it out with the faux cyber-bashing.
