Linds, want to rent a hotel room in Asbury Park, NJ for like four days next summer and take bikes?? I want to so so so badly. Anyone can come crash and throw in like $15/night.

nah i love asbury pk too but you gotta hit up seaside heights for the boardwalk and belmar and manasquan to see the jersey surfers and maybe even all the way down to LBI and cape may!

I went to Belmar once. It was chock-a-block fraternity houses, and "hot" college girls wearing platform flip-flops and flipping their blow-outs, and vomit and leftover pizza in the bushes. I will...pass?

i spent a weekend in belmar last summer...but at a friend's parents place (she grew up there)and it was lovely...didnt seem so "shore"-ey, though...pretty suburban and quiet...we only were at the beach in the evenings, though...
