That book is like customized right? The movie implies that anyone who read it would get a customized story about their own innermost fantasies which would then come true, so therefore Atreyu = Tyler Durden. Bastian fantasizes about an ideal hero whose quest is to save the world. Then it turns out that HE is the true hero, and it was him the whole time. Like when the narrator of Fight Club discovers that he is really Tyler Durden, sole founder of Fight Club and Project Mayhem, his true subconscious desires made reality. Plus it's gay.

I liked one of the Atreyu singles that came out a couple years ago, the video was pretty nice too IIRC.
