Dogs dogs dogs.

I have been plagued by combinations of being weirdly busy and not busy at all. I wish I knew what this means.

Short lifespan sounds kind of not so bad, and obviously I know you've lost pets before, but wow it was so hard when we had to have Cutty Sark put to sleep last spring. I thought it would be fine and then I sobbed idiotically through the entire experience. So if it were me, I'd be keeping that in mind (and probably going, whoa, I shouldn't have pets... or children... or friends...).

Good night, ITR. <3 to you all.

Freddie Mac - 2000-05-18
Greyhound Mix-Neutered Male
50 lbs

Freddie is 8 years old, young at heart, still looking for love and dreams of a forever home. He's a very handsome tan and white greyhound mix. He's so sweet, still likes to play and is content to wait patiently while you're gone, for your return. He is good with children but prefers to pick his own canine friends as some dogs intimidate him. Freddie dreams of morning walks, watching daytime TV and sleeping all through the night with anyone who will love him in return. Please give this gentle dog a chance to fulfill his dreams.

Attributes: Ready and waiting for a new family!

oh god i'm trying to remember what the memorable music history factoid about that one was... apparently my teachers failed.

highly theoretical, of course. (tehresa), Tuesday, 14 October 2008 13:53 (fifteen years ago) link

My personal memorable music history factoid is that we sang the huntsman chorus from that at Luther College on a senior year take-all-the-singers-to-area-schools-known-for-music trip (remember that, John? the random piece with big la-la-la-la-la-la section in the middle?).

It is considered the first important German Romantic opera, especially in its national identity and stark emotionality

I don't think you're asking the right Minnesotans, dude.

Okay, now I want that dog. And to make Dan and John sing.

I could ask my parents; I think they like him.

I'm sure that mine do, but I'm not going to ask why. Based on their emails, it is because there is an "R" after his name.

I'm pretty sure that's Michelle Bachman, the R that represents the St. Cloud area. I really don't like that woman.

SANJAY BLOGDAI SANJAY (John Justen), Tuesday, 14 October 2008 17:35 (fifteen years ago) link

I want secrets, too.

I would take Al Franken any day over Norm Coleman. Make of that what you will.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 14 October 2008 17:45 (fifteen years ago) link

Okay, now when I open this thread up I immediately see a photo of Norm Coleman and Michelle Bachmann. SERIOUSLY NED, WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME?!

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 14 October 2008 21:36 (fifteen years ago) link

Well, it IS getting close to Halloween.

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 14 October 2008 21:42 (fifteen years ago) link

If you lived closer, I'd be walking to your house to wake you up as soon as I had the inevitable Norm-related nightmare. But cruel fate is protecting you.

Sara R-C, Tuesday, 14 October 2008 22:04 (fifteen years ago) link

It is protecting me, by not suffering through Minnesota winters. *smugs, is beaten*

Ned Raggett, Tuesday, 14 October 2008 22:57 (fifteen years ago) link

Well, fine, but you don't get to know the joys of ELECTRIC BLANKETS and hot cocoa when it's ridiculously cold out, either, then. SO THERE

BUT the next two days feel too short. Too much to read for Thursday night and kids home after noon tomorrow for MEA weekend. So how I'm supposed to cram all this info into my head with them on my hands I have no idea.

But I'm going to go work out my aggressions on my treadmill and then get into POWERSTUDYMODE!!!
