Kerry, I did contact your doctor. I hope that you aren't lying about him being your doctor because you need someone to try to help you through this and support you. The people here can only do so much, because you refuse to believe we aren't against you in some fashion, everything we can say to you is proof that we're one of them. And we aren't! But there's nothing any of us can do for you here, we're way too far away from you and you won't believe us at all when we tell you we AREN'T the people you seem to think we are.

Seriously, Kerry, I used to go out with someone who had the exact same problems you're describing...except not with Scientologists...and the only way to help is to get someone with authority on the job, you know. Like a doctor or something. We can't do anything about it other than sympathise and worry.

Oh Christ, this is really serious. It's a good thing you called her doctor, Ally. Is anyone here personally acquainted with Kerry? It might be rather important to contact her relatives or someone else close to her too. I don't think anyone should answer her posts, there's little hope of reasoning with her at this point. Much as we'd want to we can't help her through the Internet.

Well, I could talk to her and say that I'm not "forged", I could offer her all the possible proof, but I doubt she'd believe me. She has somehow in her head formed an idea that ILX is out to get her, and she'd probably interpret any attempt on our part to debunk these ludicrous claims as another part of this "conspiracy".

This is really awful and scary, but there probably isn't anything we can do for her through this board, maybe just make things worse. What did her doctor say, Ally?

What I meant was talking straight to her in here is of no use, but if someone can actually contact someone who knows her that'd be good. I think folks are a bit scared and worried about this whole affair and would like to know what's going on with her, but yeah, you're right, if Ally has talked to her doctor she shouldn't post anything about it here. Sorry about the last line, I was kinda upset about this and was writing hastily.

i think it's kind of unfair to lay into Dan (or Jon on ILE proper) for posting some crack when it was still pretty unclear that this was for real, and not some joke. I mean her posts on the baseball thread initially made very little reference to herself or anything being done to her, they sounded like some completely nutty super sports fan psycho joke act! Though it's not really fair to yell at Tuomas here either.
