I didn't know Seattle was a safe pick for AL West, but i was just generally anticipating the dark horse no one sees coming.

hmmm. i like the fangraphs bold predictions bc the writers generally seem to be trying to make actual bold predictions (which is why their success rates at the end of the season tend to be low)

gotta say, I'm not crazy about Sale's odds of winning a Cy Young pitching in Fenway. i know it's been done, but i would expect a regression from him this year.

I got to wonder how Sale would handle it if it goes sideways for a while in Boston. That's a whole different animal than playing for the White Sox. I don't think that tantrum he pulled last year would fly there in the same way if it went down in Boston.
