She told the story at the natural-history museum, in late March. Montane
voles and prairie voles are so similar "that naifs like me can't tell them
apart," she told a standing-room-only audience (younger and hipper than
the museum's usual patrons—the word "neuroscience" these days is like
catnip). But prairie voles mate for life, and montane voles do not. Among
prairie voles, the males not only share parenting duties, they will even
lick and nurture pups that aren't their own. By contrast, male montane
voles do not actively parent even their own offspring. What accounts for
the difference? Researchers have found that the prairie voles, the
sociable ones, have greater numbers of oxytocin receptors in certain
regions of the brain. (And prairie voles that have had their oxytocin
receptors blocked will not pair-bond.)
"As a philosopher, I was stunned," Churchland said, archly. "I thought
that monogamous pair-bonding was something one determined for oneself,
with a high level of consideration and maybe some Kantian reasoning thrown
in. It turns out it is mediated by biology in a very real way."

Jannis 9.7 initiated our e-mail conversations with the statement that he believes he is the 7th Lord of Time, and that did lead to interesting e-mail conversations about the Lords of Time and Valum Votan :)
No one “authorized” me to decide, nor have I done so.
I have shared various messages and crop circles that contributed towards my sense of ‘purpose’, partly to demonstrate that we are all inspired and guided by ’responses’ from higher intelligence.
I did utilize the synchronicity of my 21 year old nephew {Jud, 5 Sun} participating in and winning the 21st episode of Survivor as a way to call attention to the 7th Lord of Time [coded by 5 Sun: Single Wing Red Fire] that we were awakening, and to highlight the 441 Cube [21x21=441]. Additionally, Survivor = 144, the ‘mirror‘ of 441: 12 x 12 = 144.
In some respects, the Bolontiku are as much a mystery as they were on 9/11/2004, when the message [in the form of a synchronic readout] appeared on my screen while reading about the first 7 Bolontiku [Lords of Time] who laid their electrical codes in oUR Earth.
I do feel an affinity with the 5th Lord of Time [coded by 3 Mirror], the only feminine Lord of Time, and today is the 21st day of my Electric Mirror ring. When Valum Votan added this sentence to a Rinri report after meeting me: “the Supreme Golden Maiden will be able to accomplish her mission if she assiduously studies the Cosmic History Chronicles”, it enhanced my sense of mission and service.
