Kind of downbeat for a U2 record, ennit?

this basically knocks U2 outta the park tbqfh

320kbs update for audiophile dillweeds:
dan - were you able to gen a 320kbs version of "moment of surrender"?
alextc - are you interested in submitting a 320kbs version?
snoball - assume you are sending me one shortly
tom's is 270 VBR - dan, can you ask him if he wants to send a link to a 320kbs version?
nabisco - plz reconsider yr stance, that satire's deep like plush velvet seats and 192kbs makes baby jesus cry

aw thanks dan, I was about to apologize for not delivering on this concept:
Ned's spoken words definitely have to be the closing of the album with some background music or something (eheh, I've just imagined it with a funky synth track a la "thriller"'s vincent price's rap !)

if you can upload the track to sendspace and send me the link thru ILX
I'll also send you my email address if you just wanna straight up send the file as an attachment
― 鬼の手 (Edward III), Monday, 2 March 2009 03:16 (fifteen years ago) link
This is ILM creativity at its finest! I am so happy that people have come forth and expressed themselves and made this thing. This is fantastic. Why don't you guys post about this on ILM?

Okay I'm working my way through this comp again and Snoball's "Get On Your Boots" is heavily, heavily classic.

yeah, I like its quasi-foetus everything and the kitchen sink approach, plus it rocks
― 鬼の手 (Edward III), Monday, 2 March 2009 04:58 (fifteen years ago) link
so I've been messing around with fairtilizer, looks like I can upload the individual tracks and create a streaming playlist out of them
one weird thing is it asks for a country for each track (wtf?)
I've been putting US for everybody, if this offends you please let me know what country you would like to be affiliated with
or maybe I should just make them all ireland lol

I just finished listening to the Snoball track and I was in tears. Sides aching, paralytic laughter -- I was trying to imagine U2 actually doing that at the Grammys.

that's weird, I thought uncompressing zip files was native to PCs & Macs now?
you could probably just download a trial version of some other software like winrar and unzip it.
also, streaming version will be up later today.
