Hmm. "U2 fans" is a large population. So even if the proportion of really fucking stupid ones is the same as it is in any normal population (and you might, if you were being all zingy and ILX about it, say it'd be higher), that's still a shitload of people who might just fall for it, no matter what ;)

is this something to engage in a lot of handwringing over? it's in the wild now. if you want to download it, change the artist title on the files to U2, swap out ZS's artwork for the real stuff, and upload it to yr blog, how are we gonna stop you? this is a lark and anything that brings more lulz is welcome afaic.
