I keep getting Sabah shoes advertised to me and I have to admit I like them - got 'im!! - but I go to their website and they cost a fucking fortune, particularly once you clock that they are just gentrified Turkish street shoes so i look around and there are a couple of companies that make essentially the exact same thing for far less. ^ they have a dubious "grounding" thing going on where they will add a.... copper rivet....? to the bottom of the shoe but i got a rubber sole without a rivet

i tried both ways and they stay on either way. will probably save them for sunnier climes/times so no socks is probably how i’ll wear them

recently got my first pair of pumas (don't even know is that a solid brand??) in a sort of low rise beige that i have to wear sock-less bc they ran a bit small, but they hold up well without socks and are comfortable to bounce around in without caring if they get scuffed.

I've had some nice Pumas over the years. Any major brand is going to probably be fine if it's a sneaker that they've been making for a while, imo.
