listening to this loud now... sounds a lot more like "natural" dance music than most footwork. dunno if that's because my ears have become acclimatised to the style, but i could totally see a lot of people loving this and not just FW fans

so yeah the vivid futurist cover is apt & this is great - weird lack of samples & oddly smooth for juke but moves p effortlessly through a lot of territory & has great flow: the way warning drops in all heavy; when it shrinks down from let go to super-tight boss-level doom on traps in space. korrupted star is a 100% straight banger.
not sure if i prefer this catholic space-fruitiness to teklife v1's hyper-controlled purist laboratory minimalism though.

ok and the title track too
i don't think the album really gets going until "destroy him my robots" which is bonkers, and then the stretch through "believe" is amazing. the last third is pretty good, i think "lazer" is kinda filler and the last two aren't in the space zone enough for my taste but "space breeze" and "liquid drug" are great too. in the first third i think i really only like "warning", though the other ones i guess do a good job of setting you up for the sound.

It's a hoot, Damo. Really decadent and accessible for the footwork style.
