So glad you guys are aware of this. It's been on national news all day.
She was one of my favorite 'ranchera' singers. If only because she really let go without caring about her voice breaking on record, it adds so you can feel the pain in her interpretations.

This is her most popular song. Her voice still sounded well tuned then but you can still her some broken shouts of pain in the chorus. I don't know how interesting this music is for non-spanish speakers since the lyrics are very important but here goes:
